A new 3 bedroom home designed to look over the Mt Martha Mariner. The living areas and deck were positioned at the front of the block to take advantage of the great bay views in multiple directions. The main bedroom was positioned at the rear and with ceiling joists big enough to take a future second story, but off a wing so the same views could be captured. The entry enters at the centre of the house giving great access to either the bedroom wing or the living and kitchen wing. The split levels ensured the construction cost was lower and achievable.
- Timber Grooved Shadowclad
- Colorbond corrugated cladding
- Large Bi-fold doors
- Fire Place
- Large living areas
- Split level to follow the contour of the land
- Garage and driveway cleverly positioned to ensure driveway gradients were comfortable on a sloping block.
The project has been a great success. The client loves the home and spends many weekends down from Melbourne to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. A keen sailor also, meant the client could watch the boats and yachts sailing through the marina from the great vantage point of the living areas, what else could you ask for really.
